World Communication Centre opens in Africa

22-FEB-05 -- World Communications Centre (WCC) management has announced plans to open a remote office in Africa, where an agreement has been reached with local business to promote and market WCC's range of products across the continent. These include Iridium Satellite global phones, Inmarsat's range of product and V-Sat related products. The Africa roll out has been finalised and WCC plans to be fully integrated into key regions across Africa in the first quarter of 2005.

"Africa has been identified as a market with growth potential based on the difficulties experienced with telecommunications across the continent" says Sam Romey, president of WCC."

"WCC has been working in the African market for a number of years and the establishment of an office in Africa will give us access to more remote areas. Current operations rely on a long distance relationship with clients and we are confident that with an office in Africa we can once again re-establish WCC as a leading service provider on the African continent," says Romey

WCC's Africa business will be headed up by Paul Fitchet, who has been working across African for a number of years as regional director for Iridium Satellite LLC.

About World Communication Center Inc.

As a provider of satellite communications, World Communication Center, Inc. (WCC) has supplied solutions-based service, equipment and rentals for satellite voice and data, mobile asset tracking devices, and satellite broadband Internet for five years. WCC provides telephone and Internet solutions to a customer base that spans the globe, including individuals, corporations, governments, heavy industry, marine, and aviation.

WCC's primary spotlight is on the one truly global satellite system, Iridium. This redundant system utilizes 66 low-earth orbit satellites providing customers with significantly lower signal delays, smaller hand-held technology and complete global coverage.

WCC is a premier Iridium Service Provider; one of only a few service providers to qualify as a Value-Added Manufacturer (VAM) and a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) - as distinguished by Iridium. This combination enables WCC to often be the first to deliver solutions by building products and systems to meet customers' demands as well as resolve equipment issues on a case-by-case basis.

Furthermore, maintaining a VAR status with Hughes and Starband gives WCC the flexibility to offer customers VSAT products that provide broadband high-speed residential and office solutions nationwide. Custom and international VSAT applications can easily be met with WCC's partner company, Enterprise Satellite Solutions (ESS).

Nationally, WCC has helped supply the U.S. Government in their efforts in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. The U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, The Marine Corps, NASA, and the Environmental Protection Agency are only some of the entities that WCC has touched within the U.S. Government. WCC was awarded a GSA contract in 2004.

WCC is able to provide satellite phone configuration and repair bench work (beyond manufacturer's warranties) as required by individual users. WCC can repair or replace components on the Iridium satellite equipment down to the mainframe, including antenna, LCD, screen, skins, as well as configuration and software loading.

Emergency orders on standard equipment can be processed during normal business hours in an expedited fashion, dependent on inventory. WCC's Rental Department also can aid in any immediate needs for short-term emergency situations. WCC does have a returned materials authorization (RMA) process designed to offer end-users a simple and expeditious support solution for products under warranty and out of warranty.
